a day with Rysen

Rysen spent the day with us on Thursday. The morning was a little rough - Rysen wanted to be held (understandably) and Mason didn't want him to be held, at least not by me. Luckily, Mason is easily sidetracked by food, so it was nothing a little breakfast couldn't fix! Then, as long as I kept changing up the toys they were playing with, both boys did great.

Mason spent most of the day trying to play with whatever Rysen was playing with. However, I did catch him trying to give Rysen this Spider Man toy at one point. It would've been a sweet deal if only Rysen wanted that toy, even a little. Oh well. I'm sure they'll be best friends soon. :0)
