And hosted Easter dinner on Sunday.... Matt prepared the whole dinner! I work in one of the kids rooms at church and signed up for the 10:00 service. I thought I was being so smart - it was late enough for us to do our baskets and early enough to be home before everyone got here. What I didn't think about was the time needed to actually cook dinner... I was smarter than I thought! : ) Matt did a great job - it was delicious!
I love Easter. I'm sure I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again. But I really do love everything about it. I love the church service, I love seeing kids all dressed up, I love that it means spring is here (or at least on it's way), I love dying eggs and hiding baskets, I love dinner with the family and deviled eggs. Seriously, I love it. If you celebrate Easter, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. He is risen.
